My father was a veteran of the United States Navy. When he passed his memorial flag was sent home with us in a cardboard box. I must have viewed over a hundred or so frames. All of them very nice. Some customizable, others not. I wanted to find a frame that I could personalize and I stumbled across this frame in the "You May Also Like" items. Reviews were pretty good overall so I decided to take a chance. So glad I did. The outer shadowbox frame is pretty big and we had to relocate a few pictures to find a home for it but once it was in place and hung on the wall it looked breathtaking. It has a place for his discharge certificate so no need to customize and the shadowbox frames the certificate and his flag beautifully. If I were building this from scratch I would have used a solid hardwood but it is still pretty sturdy as is. Definitely a winner for anyone looking to honor a late veteran.
